Social justice is something I am very passionate about and so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to do this self-initiated capstone project for my senior portfolio class. I created, named, and branded this campaign over the course of the final spring semester of my BFA program.
REACH is a public awareness campaign committed to bringing the community of Keene, NH closer together by celebrating diversity. REACH helps people realize that community diversity leads to stronger and more successful workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. The REACH wordmark encompasses many different aspects of the meaning behind the campaign. For example, the letter “E” could represent a person reaching their arms up in the air, the letter “A” could represent two people reaching toward the pinnacle of a common goal or understanding, and the letter “C” could be seen as a hug.
